Hi, welcome to our first home. We have a lovely 1 bedroom flat, on the first floor of a semi detached house, on Martins Corner in Dagenham. The bedroom is a very good size and newly painted. We have space for a double bed, 2.5 double wardrobes, chest of drawers, and a dressing table - so plenty of room for furniture. The living room is cozy, with a bay window letting in lots of natural light. The kitchen is quaint but big enough for all white goods, and space for an additional tumble dryer/dishwasher. Storage is no issue. We have a large storage cupboard at the bottom of the stairs, and another next to the kitchen. We also have a very large loft. The garden is shared, but we have fenced this off, and our garden is the bigger of the two. Our neighbour is lovely and keeps his garden to a good standard. We have put a lot of work into the garden, landscaping the groundwork, laying a new patio with a pathway, and building a raised bedding for plants. Our entry into the back garden is via a side gate next to the front door (neighbour uses own back door). Parking is ample, with more than enough room to park along the road outside and also, on the pavement - no permits needed. We are a 1 minute walk to local shops. There is a GP surgery next door and surrounding bus stops to take you to the train stations/into town centre. We are close to primary and secondary schools, as well as choices of supermarkets - nearby bus stops take you directly to 24 hour Asda, while another takes you to Lidl. Chadwell Heath train station is a 5 minute drive away, or 10 min bus ride. We have put a lot of love into our first home, but now need to move onto the next chapter in our lives by starting a family.
