very quiet close just off chestnut avenue in walderslade in a sought after cul-de-sac position. medium sized well maintained gardens front & rear.the neighbours also take great pride in the appearance of their gardens.rear garden has decking & lights with maturing palms & plants. attached brick outhouse/utility room where i house a tumble dryer & a sofa & extra fridge which is great for those summer BBQ's. large kitchen/diner with spotlights, plenty of cupboard space. new bathroom with bath & shower. large double bedrooms with wood flooring. most of the homes in the close have converted their back bedrooms into two rooms by fitting another window (perfect if you have the skills and patience to do this).currently re-painting the house as i do every few years. plenty of in-built storage in bedrooms & under the stairs. laminate flooring downstairs with carpet to the stairs & landing. very quiet close with settled/retired neighbours most & all but about 2 homes (mine and next door - lady in her 80s) are privately owned. rear access. Looking for 3 bed house or may accept a large 2 bed with separate dining room. reluctant 2 leave here as its been a real pleasure, i just hope our next home will have the same plus points like this has.im open to offers & im especially interested in victorian builds, but ideally would be near a good secondary school for my daughter.
