I'm in a first floor flat in a secure building on a quiet road North of Dundee City center but well-served by buses. The flat itself is sheltered, having a 24 hour warden service if required and is, of course fully checked-out in terms of internal safety - smoke detectors, carbon-monoxide sensors.
With 2 rooms it is spacious but has a galley style kitchen with a breakfast bar. Again, plenty of room for all the kitchen appliances as well as for cupboard space.
My neighbors are friendly, self-contained and we all share the drying green to the rear (Again security protected.) At the front there are large patches of lawn cut by the council and always ample parking space outside of the building. Oh, recently "clad" to retain warmth and given a fancy facade so quite good cosmetically. Although the building itself is of good quality sandstone and the kitchen window looks out onto a former school, now empty and "listed."
